GEMS, an institutional initiative, is dedicated to the systemic transformation of diversity, equity, inclusion within STEM disciplines at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). We partner with local and national STEM-related organizations to re-envision STEM spaces for an enduring commitment to intersectional equity. Leveraging this knowledge we facilitate evidence-based conversations to infuse current best practices and research throughout USM STEM communities.
